Are You Taking Care of Your Heart?
Culturally-Responsive Care
Growing up in an immigrant Asian American household, I developed a nuanced understanding of cultural values, intergenerational trauma, identity formation, and stigma. As an LGBTQ+ clinician, I am deeply committed to serving and supporting my community.
I take on a collaborative, strength-based approach to therapy, where clients discover their identities, values, worldviews, or even behavioral patterns that are not serving them.
Regardless of your background, you deserve to be heard and healed.
My Approach
My main modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My clinical style incorporates a strong therapeutic bond, light humor, and challenging questions that foster personal growth.
I work with clients on tackling anxiety, depression, trauma work, life transitions, and when you don’t feel like yourself anymore.
Your heart is as vast as the ocean. You can fit in it.
Healing from the Loss of Love
My main specialty is the Loss of Love — whether that be a partner, family member, friend, or yourself.
This can include heartbreaks, infidelity, disconnects from family or friends, gaps in expressing love, or just feeling a little hard to love yourself.
Healing is not easy or quick, but you don’t have to go through that journey alone.
